Civic Centre Clock Tower repairs

The bells of the Civic Centre Clock Tower will not chime from Wednesday 20 August to allow for essential maintenance works to be completed.

The tower and its copper roof need to be repaired following the damage sustained during severe weather conditions last year.

The bells will be turned back on when the maintenance works are completed this winter.

I think I will miss the bells’ chime….. Via Facebook http://ift.tt/OvSjwM
