INTERESTED IN SINGING?

Big Big Sing is a UK-wide singing project that aims to inspire thousands of people to get singing, enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits it brings, and have fun! We’re coming to Turner Sims, Southampton on Sunday 19 October and as singing in a group is such a great way to create a sense of community we thought the event may be of interest to you.

From 12 noon to 5pm we’ll be squeezing in as much singing as possible! Our choirmaster extraordinaires Stephen Deazley and Eugene Skeef will take participants on a trip around the world through song, joined by the Big Big Sing band.

Everyone’s welcome – participants don’t need to be able to read music and it doesn’t matter how much or little singing experience they have.

Tickets are £5.

There’s more info at www.bigbigsing.org and tickets can be booked online: http://bit.ly/1oXWH9zwww.bigbigsing.org and tickets can be booked online: http://bit.ly/1oXWH9z or by calling: 023 8059 5151.

Over on our website we also have guides on how to set up a community choir and lots of free resources.

HELP NEEDED!

My name is Ryan and I am a assistant Team Leader for the Princes Trust Team programme which work in partnership with Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service. This programme is 12 weeks based on working with unemployed and out of education young adults between 16-25 years old. The coursed is based around the individual and helps them gain confidence, team work and basic skills needed for the work place.

Part of the 12 weeks is 2 weeks Community Project. The idea of a Community Project is to make the Team work together and to make a difference in the community. They will do all the planning and fundraising so there is no cost to you. I am therefore trying to find companies that can agree to have a Community Project if the Team wishes to do there project with you. The dates for the Community Project are 21st of October until 31st October.
